December 2014 – Merry Christmas & 2014 in Review

This past year has been another exciting one for Metering Dynamics as we continue to grow in an increasingly competitive, challenging and evolving market. In 2014 we experienced healthy growth across all of our portfolios, and have grown closer to our partners, customers and suppliers across Australia. In 2014 Metering Dynamics has delivered significant customer projects, completed significant improvements to our range of information products, introduced new technology and further developed our MeterShop web store.

Highlights from this year include:
• EMP Multi Plus Upgrade – The majority of EMP Multi Plus customers were upgraded to the latest version which included a significant number of improvements to Billing functionality, the ability to schedule and send automated emails from the system and the advanced capability of utilising customisable HTML email templates.

• New InfoDynamics user interface – The new InfoDynamics interface provides compatibility with the latest browsers and mobile devices, the ability for users to create and manage their own sub-users, as well auto-updateable schedules. These changes have resulted in InfoDynamics becoming even more user friendly due to the ability to more efficiently manage users and schedules.

• Trickle feed data delivery – The roll out of Trickle feed data delivery (in replacement of day 1,5, 10) further improved data quality to both customers’ EMP Multi Plus systems, InfoDynamics and Metering Dynamics’ internal systems by providing finals data the day it becomes available and allowing the automated resend of finals data past day 10.

• Streamlined Metering Dynamics’ Information Support – Customers may also have noticed some changes in the support of Metering Dynamics’ Information products. In order to more efficiently service the growing customer base and to allow for the support of future products, the existing EMPManager@meteringdynamics.com.au and InfoDynamics@meteringdynamics.com.au group email boxes were replaced with MDInfoSupport@meteringdynamics.com.au. This change has resulted in one point of contact for all information related queries and support, allowing the Information team to better manage queries and provide a higher level of customer service.

• New Product Innovation – Passive Pulse Splitter for sharing of pulse data from water, gas or electricity meters. The Passive Pulse Splitter requires no power supply making it a simple effective method of sharing pulses with multiple measurement devices. Also launched was the Single Meter SmartHub to enable MODBUS communications from single meter installations – a simple way to connect to your BMS.

• Launch of MeterShop – This year we launched our MeterShop E-Commerce web store to enable our customers to buy meters online. Recently added products include the 3 input EDMI MK10A meter; keep an eye on our site in 2015 as we further increase our range.

• Embedded Networks (EN) – Our success with Embedded Networks projects continues, delivering significant EN Projects across Australia.
